Friday-
We were able to get on the track Friday night with the folks from the WWRA. They were very kind to us and got out for 4 different practice sessions that lasted about 10-15 laps each. The track was in good shape dispite the weather, except for the now famous water in turn 1.
Saturday-
Shortly after arriving at the track around noon, the rains started. We were glad we got to practice Friday night, because we would get no practice on this day. The track stayed wet until after the other classes qualified, then we were able to squeeze in a 10 lap practice session. Another shower past through Monroe just as the show was getting started at 6 o'clock. But it only lasted about 15 minutes. We were able to get both of our Super Late Model 50 lap main events in on a night that turned out dry but cold. The folks at High Road Promotions did a great job running thier first NASCAR event at Evergreen Speedway.
Here are the results of the Super Late Model races:
Race 1: Dan Moore, Naima Lang, Mike Holden, Tom Hughs, Travis Blackwood, Tom Moriarity, Tyler Allen, Jeff Knight, Timothy Minister.
Race 2: Naima Lang, Travis Blackwood, Tom Moriarity, Tom Hughs, Mike Holden, Tyler Allen, Dan Moore, Timothy Minister, Jeff Knight.
